2020年7月底，有机会第三次来到厦门，再上鼓浪屿，慢慢走，慢慢看。
记得到过三次厦门，很美的地方，之前就去看过鼓浪屿的各种老建筑，很让我着迷，此次再到，还有机会住在海上花园酒店，很NICE!
鼓浪屿是位于中华人民共和国福建省厦门市思明区的一个小岛，原鼓浪屿区后被撤销行政区并入思明管辖，现成为著名的风景区，面积不到2平方公里，人口约2万。有“海上花园”、“万国建筑博览会”、“钢琴之岛”之美称。除环岛电动车外不允许机动车辆上岛，因此气氛幽静。2005年《中国国家地理》杂志将鼓浪屿评为“中国最美的城区”第一名。
鼓浪屿鹿礁路13号到15号有三幢别墅。一幢叫大楼，是1895年以前英国船长的别墅，1895年林维源（林菽庄的父亲）居住鼓浪屿时购买；一幢叫小楼，是林维源居鼓浪屿所建；一幢叫八角楼，原为小楼的一部分，1914年，林菽庄之子林刚义在室内做化学实验时引起爆炸烧毁。1915年，林菽庄在原址建起巴洛克式五层别墅，称八角楼，再加上佣人们居住的管理房，统称林氏府。林氏府是台湾板桥林氏家族在鼓浪屿的故居，俗称“府内”。林氏府在老鼓浪屿人心中的地位，有如故宫之于北京。修建“菽庄花园”的林菽庄先生曾是这里的主人。
